Information for Coaches
All motorboat launch entry ramps in Lake Tahoe check for tags to ensure that your boat has completed a mussel inspection. Please see: http://tahoeboatinspections.com/ The closest location to complete your coach boat mussel inspection is in Alpine Meadows Deer Park Parking area. Mussels are an invasive species in Lake Tahoe. Make sure your bilge is dry prior to inspection and be prepared to disclose your last body of water.
Parking is not allowed at the venue as space is extremely limited. If you are camping close by, bring your bicycle as there are many bike paths to the venue. (The mountain biking is pretty great too). All trailers except for dollies and Kitty Hawk type trailers must be parked at the North Tahoe High School for the duration of the event. The North Tahoe High School is located at 2945 Polaris Rd, Tahoe City, CA 96145 located about 5 minutes drive away. Vehicles may be required to park at this location depending upon the number of entries and a shuttle bus may be available to take participants to the venue and back to their vehicles at the end of the day.
