11th Annual North Tahoe Rowing

Information The
North Tahoe Rowing Regatta is set for Saturday, June 15, 2013. As in past years, the race will be held on two
courses: a more sheltered 3.75nm course open to all flat water and open water
shells, and a 8.75nm - more exposed - course for open water shells only. All
shells on both courses must have a bailer or bailing device and a PFD; a
compass or GPS is also strongly advised for every shell. The
Crown Motel, 8200 North Lake Boulevard in Kings Beach, is the location of race
headquarters. The race start is just offshore from the Crown Motel beach, and
there is room on the beach for entrants to stage shells before and after the
event . The Crown offers rowers a discount on rooms if you reserve for three
nights or longer; mention the rowing regatta when you call. (800) 645-2260. Friday,

and awards ceremony around the pool at the Crown CANCELLED DATE SET FOR 2013 Unfortunately this year's North
Tahoe Rowing Regatta has been cancelled; the race director has been injured and
is unable to oversee the race. However, we have every intention of
holding this race next year. Put Saturday, June 15, 2013 on
your calendar and we'll reconvene at Lake Tahoe and the Tahoe Yacht Club then. For any who have reserved rooms at
the Crown Motel for this year, make sure to call at least 7 days prior to your
reservation date to cancel without a penalty (800-645-2260). And if the 2013 date fits in your schedule,
we suggest making reservations now for your favorite rooms for next year. Meanwhile, we'll focus on providing
the best possible event in 2013 and send our best wishes to all for a great
